The highly anticipated staging of the 45th annual Stone Love Anniversary Party takes place today at Sabina Park in Kingston.
Hosted by the vibes master Nikki Z and MC Sample Man, the show will feature icons such as Sizzla, Mavado, I-Octane, Aidonia and many more.
Sound system owner Winston ‘Wee Pow’ Powell is geared up for what he expects will be another successful year for the show.
“As usual, we have a very exciting show prepared for our supporters. This is a show that people look forward to every year. There’s no better way to wrap up 2017 than in the company of talented artistes and good music,” Powell stated.
The all-star line-up, coupled with Stone Love’s vibrant selectors, will no doubt ensure a grand feel-good experience. The show caters to both reggae and dancehall lovers in a special way each year.
“Stone Love is all about providing the people with a positive space where they can rock and relax to good music. This year, we have a special guest artiste that will be revealed on the night of the show and, of course, all of Stone Love’s selectors will be there, so there will be plenty of excitement for everyone,” Powell said.
For its 45th staging, the show has moved from Red Stripe Oval to Sabina Park. Powell is confident that the move will draw an even bigger and more diverse crowd.
Start time: 7 p.m.; Entry fee: $1,200 pre-sold and $1,500 at the gate.
